Love Is In The Ears

I love jamming to my playlist from my iPhone when I’m commuting to class, working out in the gym, or doing homework. I have to admit, I’m the person who goes through headphones like it’s my job. I tend to lose them, break an ear piece, or spill coffee on them. I hate the feeling of getting to the library and being slapped with the reality that I’ve forgotten to bring my headphones!

My solution to this problem is, to have various earplugs where I could use them. Have a pair in the car, gym bag, and purse. Love is in my ears when I plug in my ear buds and there’s no better way to express that than with the Diane Von Fustenberg’s heart print earbuds. Even when my phone is dying, these small travel size earbuds can save my day!   I can plug it into the laptop and play songs on Pandora, it’s marvelous!  Not only is it lovable, but it can make for an awesome gift. Over-loaded purse can add weights to your commute

If you are a commuter like myself, I’m always on the go. Which means I always have to bring a back bag with necessary essentials just for my day to go through smoothly. Here are my top ingredients:

• Headphones: Music makes my day. Whether it’s your phone as a source of music or simply a computer. All you have to do is plug the headphones in and your day will go by faster with the sound of the beats. I use Marshall Headphone.

• Scarf: When the weather drops, a scarf can keep your neck and body warm. Or try to wear it as a turban. (See my To Turban or Not To Turban Post)

• Snack: I hate that feeling when your stomach is growling for food. Then you have to wait (which seems like hours) to get to your destination. Grab a fruit or granola bar.

• Lip Balm: Moisturizing your lips is a beauty must. Prevents chapped lips and cold sores. I use natural Burt’s Bees lip balm.

• Umbrella: Like my momma says, “You should always be prepared”. There are little umbrellas convenient for any purse size. I use Top Shop umbrella.
